Have you been waiting for your chance to twirl on The Impy’s iconic stages? Ready to take that next step into the spotlight? Join us on the last Thursday of every month for Ruby’s Royale Rumble! An open stage for all drag. An unforgettable evening of glitz, glam, and show-stopping performances.

Performer registrations close at 7.30pm on the night, for an 8pm show start. You’re welcome to just show up with your USB, but to help things run smoothly, we do encourage you to register and send your music in advance! Reach out to us at imperial.reservations@universalhotels.com.au with the subject line “Ruby’s Royale Rumble”. Please note, track length maximum is 4 minutes.

Under 18s Policy

Ruby’s Royale Rumble welcomes performers of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a budding talent, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to showcase their skills.
For under 18s wishing to participate, there a few rules that you’ll need to follow.

1. All performers under the age of 18 must have a table reservation with their legal guardian for the duration of their stay.

2. The legal guardian must be present at all times, including when visiting bathrooms, at tables, etc.
Under 18s must not approach the bar.

3. Under 18s must exit the premises by 9pm. We will ensure they have first chance to perform from 8:30-9pm. 

Please note, we do not have a dressing space available for under 18s, aside from the bathrooms.
It is recommended that they arrive ready to go.
