Hello lovers, welcome back to the Impy. We’d like to send you a big (COVID-safe) virtual kiss in thanks for supporting us over this very challenging time. Providing a space for our local and wider LGBTQI+ community to thrive and connect is our purpose, and despite the changing landscape we now operate our business under, it is with the great privilege we are able to continue doing what we love.
In the current climate, we ask patrons and staff alike to respect the current restrictions outlined by the NSW Government. That means things are a little different to how The Impy can operate, so here is what you can expect in line with the NSW re-opening Roadmap:
A) Only those that are 16 and over that are fully vaccinated and those with medical exemptions will have access to licensed venues.
B) Non-vaccinated young people aged under 16 will be permitted to attend hotels in the company of a responsible adult who is fully vaccinated and a member of their household.
C) Therefore, it is a government mandate that both patrons and staff will be fully vaccinated as a condition of entry and employment at all TSC licensed premises upon reopening.
D) Mask wearing; masks will remain mandatory for front of house staff in indoor areas of hotels.
E) Only hospitality staff will be required to wear a mask when outdoors.
F) Children aged under 12 will not need to wear a mask indoors.
From the whole team, from the kitchen, to the bar, to our performers and artists – we thank you for your cooperation and adding some much-needed sparkle to our lives!
