HELLO LOVERS…

Since 1983, The Imperial Erskineville has been an icon and an institution of the LGBT+ community. In March 2018 after a much-needed nip and tuck and a deluge of love, this national treasure reopened to showcase her new look and keep the good times going.

Unique in style, diverse in culture, we invite you to drink, dance, drag & dine at our ground floor restaurant Priscillas! Here we celebrate self-expression, creative individualism, performance, dance and music. We match all these passions with a deep devotion to seriously good food and killer cocktails.

In the Basement, The Imperial’s party-loving soul shines brighter than ever. Two nights a week, this space will be a haven for live performance, DJs and parties hosted by your favourite promoter groups, including Heaps Gay, Girl Thing, Honcho Disko – as well as our own fabulous Drag Xtravaganza on Friday nights with Farren Heit.

Now open is Imperial UP! Atop yours truly resides a contemporary rooftop bohemia born from iconic Italian food and convivial cocktail culture… The newest space in our fabulous venue is open 5 nights a week, from WED – SUN. The perfect place to get UP to no good – now open in collaboration with Head on Photography Festival  is resident artist Jamie Eades for their exhibition QUEERDOM in Imperial UP.

Explore Yourself Sundays is a venue wide event that promotes self-expression, inviting the diverse and dynamic LGBTQIA+ and local community to journey through our fabulous queer subcultures.

There is plenty of love in our house. We hope to see you soon.
